On the basis of our research materials we have created a board game that implements the same design, as a famous game “Memory”. The cards have images of specially selected doors, each one with its own character.
The game “Door memory” improves visual memory, attention and reflexes, and will be appealing to both young and adult audiences. The cards represent doors, which players will have to “open” over the course of the game. The set also includes map of Moscow with marked locations of doors (and their descriptions) and walking routes.
For example, the threshold of the door that now leads to the Russian State Library was once crossed by William Churchill and Ulrich Ribbentrop, and was one of the first doors in Moscow with en electronic lock. We will be happy if you take your time to study these doors carefully, admire the masterpieces of Art Nouveau and soviet neo-classicism, and expand your architectural knowledge with the help of the terms, provided on the inner side of the box.
